I am an Associate Professor of Mathematics at the University of Puerto Rico at Río Piedras (UPRRP). My primary research area is in Partial Differential Equations, mostly on Elliptic and Parabolic Boundary Value Problems on Non-Smooth and Fractal Domains, and Operator Semigroups. Other areas of research and interest are Potential Theory, Analysis on Fractals, and Operator Theory (among others). On the other hand, I am also a professional violinist, and love to play violin as a soloist, or in a orchestra. I played in the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra for several years. It is very special for me to do Mathematics and play my violin; it creates a nice balance in my routine.
