Professor José R. Colón Fuentes has taught seventeen years in the Humanities Department at UPR Arecibo, before that he taught Spanish Literature at the University of Puerto Rico at Río Piedras and Cayey campus. He obtained his PhD in Spanish Literature from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 2003.
