• Transportation Engineer and Associate Director at UPRM of the National Institute for Congestion Reduction (NICR) and the Coastal Research and Education Actions for Transportation Equity (CREATE), two University Transportation Centers (UTC) supported by the US Department of Transportation. New Co-Director of the Puerto Rico Transportation Technology Transfer Center Local Technical Assistance Program) supported by the Puerto Rico Highways and Transportation Authority and the Federal Highway Administration. Has administrative experience in the operation of public transportation services and the establishment of transportation public policy in Puerto Rico as a former President and General Manager of the Metropolitan Bus Authority (MBA) and as the first Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Integrated Transit Authority (PRITA) during the 2013-2016 term.
