  • Dalvin D. Méndez Hernández earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Arizona State University and then did a postdoc at Yale University. Since 2015 he has been a professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Puerto Rico at Cayey. In his laboratory, computational chemistry is used to calculate the chemical-physical properties of organic molecules with the purpose of designing compounds for solar energy and biomedical applications.
