- Fernández-Repollet has extensive research administration experience of over 30 years focusing on developing research programs and infrastructure at the institutional level. She is the principal investigator of the Research Centers in Minority Institutions (RCM) program at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus and served as Vice President for Research and Technology at the University of Puerto Rico System for seven years.
