  • Dr. Bonny M. Ortiz-Andrade holds a bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry, as well as a master's degree in Ecology and Strategic Ecosystem Management. She has conducted research on bird diversity and interactions between hummingbirds and flowers. In addition, Dr. Ortiz holds an Ed.D. in Education, specializing in Science Curriculum and Teaching. With many years of experience as a science educator, she has written, produced, and presented scientific shows, workshops, and dialogical events. These endeavors aim to convey scientific concepts in an entertaining and accessible manner to diverse audiences. Dr. Ortiz has also taken a leading role in several science communication projects and has numerous publications in various media. Moreover, she has contributed to several peer-reviewed journals on science education. Dr. Ortiz has further extended her impact by publishing books and collaborating with scientific researchers in developing activities and creating numerous educational materials.
