Robin Planas is a practicing architect, and professor at the School of Architecture of The University of Puerto Rico where he teaches courses in Architectural Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, and Data Visualization. Since 2017, Planas is also a board member of the Puerto Rico Architectural Foundation.

His practice is hybrid in nature, combining architecture, and graphic design as one single discipline always striving for the elusive timelessness in design.

Areas of interest: Architecture, visual representation, data visualization, Visualization of geospatial information, and the cognitive qualities of graphic systems.

Creative work: Architecture, visual communication, graphic design, editorial design, and brand identity development.
