- Dr. Martins received his BS from the University of Mogi das Cruzes in Biomedical Sciences in 1999 –Medical modality. He started in 1998 in the investigation, studying the effects of inflammation in astrocytes and looking through sequencing possible mutations in the gene TIGR in patients with glaucoma.
