Dr Justin Paul holds three Doctoral Degrees. Ph.D in Marketing from the University of Brighton, England; Ph.D in International Business from IIT Bombay, and an honorary doctorate from Calcutta. A former faculty member of the University of Washington, and former Provost & Dean of the AACSB & EQUIS accredited NMIMS, he is a professor of PhD & MBA programs at the University of Puerto Rico, USA, and holds/held honorary or distinguished visiting professor positions at the University of Reading, UK, Korea University, Corvinus University of Budapest, Lebanese American University, University of Versailles- France and IIM Kozhikkode, Kerala. Dr Paul holds First Rank in the world based on the Geometric Mean Index of Publications, Citations, and H Index in the Last Five-Year category in Business Administration (Source, Scholar GPS). He transformed the International Journal of Consumer Studies as Chief Editor, for two terms (2020-2025), and transformed the journal into a Q1 journal on Web of Science and Scimago from a Q4 status. He has taught full courses at Aarhus University, Denmark, University of Porto, Portugal, Grenoble Ecole de Management- France, Warsaw School of Economics, ISM Lithuania, and ELTE Budapest. He has been a regular visiting professor and invited speaker at the University of Chicago, MIT,- Boston, Deakin University, Australia, the University of Ljubljana -Slovenia, IE- Madrid, WU-Vienna, Universities in Japan, Korea, Poland, Portugal, China, the Czech Republic, Germany, Croatia, Greece, England, Kosovo, Spain, and France.
His citations are increasing at a record rate of 1200 per month, with an H Index of 102. He has served as a European EQUIS/AACSB Accreditation committee member in France, Spain and India, MBA Director & AACSB Co-ordinator at Nagoya University, Japan, and as Department Chair & Director-Executive Education at IIM. Dr. Paul introduced the Masstige model and measure for branding, the CPP Model for internationalization, the SCOPE framework for small firms, the 7-P Framework for International Marketing, and the TCCM Framework & SPAR-4-SLR for literature reviews. He has serves/ed as keynote speaker at 500+ conferences, including UVSQ -France, GAMMA, EMOK-Hungary, KSMS-Korea, Polish academy, AEMARK-Spain, Fudan & UIBE-China, UAB- Barcelona and Madrid, IE & CEU Madrid, Uni of Valencia, and often in India. He has published three best-selling case studies with Ivey & Harvard. He is known as an author/co-author of books such as Business Environment, International Marketing, Services Marketing, Export-Import Management, and Management of Banking & Financial Services by McGraw-Hill, Oxford University Press & Pearson, respectively. Dr Paul has served as an Associate Editor with Journal of Business Research, European Management Review, European Management Journal, & Journal of Strategic Marketing.
