Since 1989, she has held the position of business strategist consultant at Solutions by Myra Pérez, Ph.D. and Associates. Dr. Pérez earned her Doctoral Degree in Business Administration with majors in Marketing and Service Operations Management from Florida International University (FIU) in 1996. She also holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) with a major in Marketing from the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) in 1989 and a Bachelor's degree in Science/Chemistry from UPR in 1982. Additionally, she completed studies in Business Education and Curriculum Development from Georgia State University (GSU) in 1998 and is a Certified Master Teacher in Business Education. With over thirty years of consulting experience, Dr. Pérez has held prominent roles such as the Strategic Leader of Marco Estratégico, Inc., Vice-President of Indexes, Inc., and a research consultant for Small Business Development Centers associated with the Small Business Administration. Her areas of expertise include Services Marketing, Service Operations Management, Market Research, Sales and Retail Management, Applied Statistics, International Marketing, Consumer Behavior, and Business Ethics. Dr. Perez is currently one of twelve Councils of the American Marketing Association in Chicago Illinois and is Vice-president of Costureas Soñadoras, a non-for-profit organization that empowers women who are victims of domestic violence in Puerto Rico. Dr. Pérez has contributed significantly to her field, publishing articles in academic and professional journals. Her studies and theory developments especially those related to Services Marketing are cited in business and services marketing textbooks, reflecting her influence and expertise in the industry.
