• Junior Faculty at the University of Puerto Rico School of Pharmacy. She has always been passionate about understanding the neurobiology behind mental health. Is a Principal Investigator of multiple projects to identify and evaluate biomarkers that can be used as predictors of severity symptoms and possible treatment responses in patients with anxiety, depression, and other mental disease. Currently, we are evaluating the integration between genomic and microbiomics mediated by the gut-brain axis.
