- Wanda has spent 25 years promoting the development and use of IPM as a way to achieve ecological and economic sustainability of farms in Puerto Rico. She has been diagnosing and making educational fact sheets, manuals and publications about pest and diseases in crops of importance in the Island. In collaboration with Forest Service she received funding to work on improving health of forest nurseries, protect pollinators in the urban forest, and make forest pests surveys. She developed the IPM webpage (www.uprm.edu/sea/mip) with information of IPM in root crops, forests
