Researcher at the Center for Psychological and Sociological Research (CIPS) of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment of Cuba until 1999, on issues related to the world of work, education and youth subjectivity. Between 2003 and 2007 she coordinated the High School Career Opportunities in Research Training and Educational Program (HS-COR) at UPR Río Piedras. She has taught psychology courses at the undergraduate level in private universities in Puerto Rico and was for five years a professor in the Psychology Graduate Program at UPR Rio Piedras. Since 2014 she has been a professor in the Department of Social Sciences at the UPR in Cayey. She was part of the Innovative Programs to Enhance Research Training (IPERT), a multicampus interdisciplinary training program in biomedical and health research. She coordinated between 2018 and 2019 a Tutoring Program for children and adolescents in the El Polvorín community in Cayey. She has been part of academic committees and coordinated the evaluation of the Baccalaureate Program in Psychology 2015-2020. She belongs to the Puerto Rico Psychology Association and has collaborated as a resource for the Certification in University Teaching offered by that association. She was part of a project of pedagogical accompaniment in the School of Law of the Interamerican University. She collaborates as an evaluator in professional journals in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Costa Rica and Peru.
